ZHW-Party 2006/06/10

See you there!
All our events are listed and described in detail here. Check it out regularly for news and updates.
A chilly beer is a fine experience! From hop it is done, one would assume. But in fact hop is merely the spice in the beer, bitter indeed, but essential. This as well as other facts of beer brewing you can learn on a excursion to the hop garden at Unterstammheim in the ‘Zürcher Weinland’.
We will join an English guided tour through the hop garden, visit the micro brewery, taste the house beer and enjoy a “Bauernschüblig” (Swiss farmer’s sausage). Depending on the number of participants we will travel by train or by private cars.
Thursday, April 27th, 18.15-22.00
Cost: 15 CHF with ESN-Card (or 20 CHF without) plus train ticket
There will be no dinner, just a little snack.
Please sign up till Friday, April 21st, and indicate whether you have an ESN-Card or not.

Soccer tournament in Embrach, 27th and 28th Mai
We’d like to attend on a Grümpeltournament with a Team from ESN Winterthur.
“Grümpel” means “everybody”, so both "professional" football players and just-for-fun players are welcome in our team.
We will have to play many short games against other teams on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on how many women are coming, we will probably play in the mixed-category. So women are most welcome!
Please watch out that the tournament is just after “Ascension”, there are no school-lessons on Thursday and Friday, 25th and 26th Mai.
Please sign up till 14th April if you want to join our team.
